2022 SoCal GrandMaster HAT Tournament

The 5th Annual SoCal Grand Masters Ultimate Frisbee Hat Tournament is going to be a lot of fun with great competition and camaraderie! The previous four GM HAT tournaments were a huge success (with 50+ players and 4+ teams each year). Please invite/share these events with your other GM and GGM friends and let's make them great!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS

Men age 38+ and Women age 35+ (by the end of the year) are welcome to join us.
4 games total (3 round-robin games + 1 placement game battling for either 1st, 3rd, or 5th place)
Refund available if cancellation made 72 hours before the tourney
Registration Deadline - 24 hours before the tourney (or earlier if teams fill up!)
NOTE: The LA Tournament is currently WAITLISTING additional registrants -- so wait for the Tournament Director Ryan to confirm your spot before attending. Everyone on the waitlist will be refunded if a spot does not open up for them.

ON FIELD GENDER RATIO
We have always been super stoked to have both women and men participating in these Hat tournaments and in order to facilitate fair play:

Team captains will decide on gender matching ratios before each game, based on the number of women playing from each team and the offense setting the ratio.
On the defensive line, if a woman player sees a match-up she likes (even if it's covering a man), then she is given priority to get on the line over other teammates.

CHARITY DISC DRIVE
Let's also help others through this event, so please bring old discs that you are willing to donate to youth ultimate players.

GM TRAVEL TOURNAMENT INTEREST
